If you’re a fellow Aussie that’s had serious planner jealously over all the cute planner stuff the USA has (Michaels’, Jo Ann’s, Hobby Lobby etc.!) here’s some of my favorite places to buy planner supplies in Australia!
I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own.
1. Officeworks
Pens + stationery + cute desk accessories = <3
Their stock / brands rarely changes though 🙁
Officeworks is the cheapest physical retail store I’ve found in Australia that sells Rhodia notepads for hand lettering (they won’t ruin the brush tips like normal paper does).

2. Kmart
Kmart has lots of folders, notepads and notebooks that look eerily similar to Kikki k…
They also have plenty of sticky notes!
I shared my Kmart planner haul in this post
3. Kikki K
Kikki K has lots of pretty planners, notebooks, pens and planner accessories. They are pricey though so I always wait for a sale.
If you sign up to their mailing list they give out vouchers for your birthday and Kikki k anniversary.

4. Reject Shop
Affordable, cheap and cute = <3
They’re styles change often and tend to sell out quickly – so if you see something you like, grab it!
My mini photo album that I use as sticker storage is from the Reject Shop:

5. Mi Goals
After trying a different planner each week for an entire year, the Mi Goals planner was one of my favorites!

6. Target
Target has a very small stationery section and the stock doesn’t tend to change much, but there are still some occasional finds. They have clear view binders / folders which are great for sticker storage.

Target do put out planners each year but they are very basic – all of them have the same inside layouts and the only thing that seems to change from year to year are the cover styles.
7. Spotlight
Spotlight have pens you can buy individually rather than in packs. It’s great that you can try the pens out before buying, I just worry about how many other people have done pen testing and how long they’ve been sitting on the shelf for i.e. whether they going to dry out / run out of ink quickly. Spotlight also have storage boxes, notebooks etc.
8. Typo
Typo have planners, notepads, folders, pens etc. I did a review of one Typo’s planners in this post!
Some of my favorite highlighters are from typo including their erasable and wax highlighters

9. Bunbougu
Bunbougu has many planner pen brands that are hard to find in Australia including Zebra midliners! Shipping is reasonable too 🙂
I shared my Bunbougu haul in this post

10. Daiso
Daiso can be hit and miss – some cute stuff and some junky stuff. I picked up these binders, rainbow pens and a tin (it has a magnetic backing) that I use to store paperclips, arc disc rings etc.

Their pens are cheap and I haven’t had an issue with them – they write well. I’ve also found neon colored pens which are good for color coding.

11. Dan Da
This little store in Brisbane’s CBD is very similar to Daiso with an assortment of random stuff and a small stationery section. There’s a huge pen display with some pen brands that are hard to find in Australia plus my all time favorite pens – the Frixion erasable!
Plus it’s conveniently located close to Officeworks and Daiso…
12. Smiggle
Smiggle can be expensive but they have frequent sales.

The scented highlighters are the brightest highlighters I’ve ever seen and some of my all time favorite highlighters.

13. Staples
I’m a huge fan of the ARC discbound planner system from Staples. When I purchased the discs, cover and punch a few years ago they were about half the cost of what they are now. While I do highly recommend the ARC system if you need a cheaper alternative, MAMBI have the same discs (in more colors including gold!) and a discbound punch for half the cost.
I use the ARC in conjunction with printables to create my own planner.
The main reason I prefer disbound systems is that you can add, remove and rearrange pages as often as you need!

14. Carefully Crafted
Shameless plug – Carefully Crafted is my sister’s planner supplies shop. She has thousands of planner supplies from Happy Planner, Carpe Diem, American Crafts, Kate Spade, Color Crush, planner stamps etc.!
If you have some favorite Aussie stationery shops that aren’t listed in this post please comment and let me know! 🙂

I love seeing so many stores in Brisbane selling so many items for planners, this year I am still waiting for the Kiki-K cute refills to be restocked as they had sold out super fast so I asked the staff if they had any available saying thy’ll have more in February. The only store I don’t buy planner stock is the reject shop as I find some of the inks for the pens sometimes run too quickly which is why I chose either Kiki-K or office works. Thank you for these amazing stores and some well I haven’t noticed especially in the city. Also another brand that I really love if YOOBI from offimeworkss which is also helping schools in need for school supplies with each item you purchase an item will be donated.

There’s quite a few Brisbane shops on the list as I live in Brisbane 🙂
I know what you mean about Kikki K selling out quickly! I had a couple of their planners on my wish list but they sold out before they ever went on sale 🙁
I hadn’t heard of YOOBI – they have some cute stuff!
