I haven’t placed an order with Limelife Planners for a long time because their international shipping costs are just far too high for me to justify the cost. Thankfully, you can download free samples of Limelife Planners’ layouts on this page of their website.
The layouts come in multiple page sizes:
- 8.5 x 11″
- 7″ wide x 9″ high
- A5

Before the Pen
I forgot to take a photo before the pen sorry!
As I wanted to use the printables in my classic Happy Planner which has a 7″ wide x 9.25″ high page size, I downloaded the 8.5 x 11″ version and resized them using the tutorial I posted here.
After the Pen
I was tempted to use my dot markers again, but since I’ve used them a lot in my spreads recently, I opted to just use highlighters to add some more color instead. The Zebra Mildliners were a close match to the Limelife Planners colors.
Since I don’t like having a monthly overview on my weekly spreads (dead space to me), I converted this into a Pomodoro tracker. I’m noticing that the longer COVID drags on and the days blur together, the more slower and unproductive I am at completing things so hoped this Pomodoro tracker would help.
The planner is undated and comes with ‘month, year’ text in the black box. I covered this up with a black box sticker from one of the Happy Planner sticker books. The sample printables from Limelife are undated, so I used some Agenda 52 number stickers for the dates.
When I can’t find a sticker in the color I would like to match my spread, I usually use the Happy Planner journaling sticker book then color in the stickers.
To keep the checkboxes neat, I cheated and used a stencil.
If you’re new here, I abbreviate my blog post tasks:
- D = Draft
- E = Edit
- I = Images
- V = Video
- R.P. = Related post links
- P = Pinned to Pinterest
- D.D = Digital download for the free printables library
I used the habit tracker for tasks that occur multiple times per week to save re-writing them out multiple times. I used the thin end of the dual tip highlighters to outline the boxes on the days I intended to do those tasks.
Supplies Used
- Zebra Mildliner highlighters (pink, orange, yellow, green and blue)
- Zebra Just fit highlighter (teal)
- J Burrows highlighter (purple)
- The Paper Studio Agenda 52 calendar stickers (date stickers)
- Happy Notes classic size (rainbow stripe cover with YAY on the reverse side, I don’t think it’s available anymore)
- Printer (see this post for tips on how to choose a printer)
- Limelife planners layout D printables available for free download on the Limelife Planners website (see this post for instructions on resizing to any page size)
- Happy Planner journaling sticker book (Tooth and clock stickers)
- Happy Planner colorful boxes (594 pieces) for the black box
- Vloso stencil for the checkboxes
Would I use this planner again?
Yes. I like the style of the updated Limelife Planners layouts. There’s a bit of color but predominantly functional layouts with lined writing space too. The Pomodoro tracker helped – I’ll definitely be using it again.
I want to try Limelife’s K and N layouts next!

Hi Dianna,
Glad you find my review helpful 🙂
I’ve seen the Laurel Denise Planner (it’s been on my wish list for years). I also like the unique landscape format and being able to see the weekly and monthly calendar at the same time. I’ll hopefully be able to get it during Black Friday sales – have to wait and see! How many years have you use the Laurel Denise Planner? Or are and deciding whether to buy it?
