About

Hi, I’m Rachael, a 30 something Aussie who blogs about all things paper planning with a bit of travel mixed in between.
What do the two things have in common? Travel planning is my favorite thing to plan and it’s also what led me to start my Etsy shop, which led me down the rabbit hole into the world of paper planners, stickers, pens and bullet journaling.
When I started university I went searching for a paper planner. Most of them were vertical (columns too small), horizontal (tasks and class times became jumbled) or had pre-filled times (too rigid). So I decided to create my own planner printables.
I found them very useful and continued to make different types of daily and weekly planners, checklists, cleaning planners and meal planners. It was a fun hobby I was able to devote a lot of time to since I had long semester breaks. At the same time I wanted to take the opportunity to use all this free time to travel overseas, but as a broke student my part time wages weren’t going to cut it.
So the day I turned 18 I signed up for a credit card so I could open an Etsy shop and listed some of the printables I had been making for sale. The profits from the first year of my Etsy shop funded my first trip to the USA.

When I returned from the trip I started working full time but still wanted a creative outlet. So I started this blog where I documented my journey to finding planner peace by trying 52 different planners in 52 weeks. In the years since then I’ve shared more than 200 different weekly spreads I’ve tried, I’ve reviewed 150+ planners, 70+ dot grid notebooks and have shared plenty of tips to get the most out of a planner. There’s over 1,000 posts on this blog – I hope all of my research is helpful on your own quest to find planner peace!
I work full time which means I have limited annual leave so want to make the most of every minute of every trip! On the blog I share my detailed travel itineraries you can download, print and use as is, or copy just the parts you’re interested in and use them as a guide for structuring your own holiday. I’ve visited 35+ countries so far – I’m particularly fond of Europe and the United States. I also share guides to the best stationery shops I find in each city I visit.
I’m an obsessive list maker, a fontaholic, chocoholic, I love chevrons, anything & everything with rainbow colors, the occasional craft project and an organised workspace.
