Weekly planners that have a lined weekly spread on one page and checklist or notes space on the other page of the weekly spread are my all time favorite layout. So when I stumbled across the Life Inspired Planner – I had to have it!
Disclaimer: I was sent a copy of the planner in exchange for this review. I was going to purchase the planner anyway. As always, all opinions are my own!

The Cover
The cover is made of a material that’s hard to describe – not chipboard, not cardstock, not hardcover – but still sturdy.
If rainbow isn’t an option, my next favorite color combination is black and gold foil hence why I chose this cover:
The planner is about 1.5cm thick
Double Sided Pocket Folder
Dates at a glance
Lined writing space! <3
Goal Setting
The personal, career and financial goals are continued through to the monthly and weekly spreads.
Passwords & Contacts
Not sure why some planners still include a contacts section since most people just track that on their phone but the section is there if you need it.
Monthly Calendar
I normally dislike 1 page monthly calendars as they rarely have enough room to write. However, since this planner is a bit bigger than most of the others on the market and there’s a lined writing space for each day, the boxes are still big enough to write in.
I like that the monthly calendar has a don’t forget section and continues the lined note taking space if there are no dates required in those boxes. However, the boxes are split in 2 rather than re-starting the numbering on the top row which means you get triangle boxes you can’t really fit anything in 🙁
The week starts on a Sunday (not consistent with the weekly planner which starts on Monday).
Monthly Planning
Very functional with lots of checklist space, a large notes section, habit trackers and a monthly focus section.
Weekly Planner
This was the reason I really wanted this planner – super functional weekly spread!
Lots of list making space, circles to check off tasks and lined writing space.
I also really like that the meal planning space has 2 lines for each day since most planners don’t include enough space to write in this section.
The weekly spread starts on a Monday.
Saturday and Sunday share the same amount of space as one weekday, however you could use the quick notes or bills / spending section if you had more tasks, since there’s monthly bill tracking pages at the back of the planner.
Finances
Something most planners don’t include – an expenses tracking page for each month
Yearly reflection
Tabs
The tabs are sturdy and the month is printed on the front and back. There’s also a finance tab for the bill pay checklists at the back to help find them easier.
Pen Testing
I tried various ballpoint, gel, fine tip and marker tip pens. The pens didn’t show through too badly on the back side, however the highlighters and marker pens showed through. Surprisingly the MAMBI stamps which always tend to bled through the page only had ghosting.
Pros of the Life Inspired Plans Planner
- Larger than most planners but doesn’t feel heavy
- Minimalist color scheme
- Bill pay tracking section
- Good value for money
- Lined writing spaces throughout the planner, not just the weekly spread
- Lots of goal setting and checklists
- Password log
- When dates aren’t needed, monthly calendars have lined notes space rather than empty boxes
- Sturdy hardcover
- Pens didn’t have much ghosting on the back side of the page
Cons of the Life Inspired Plans Planner
- Monthly calendar starts on Sunday but the weekly spread starts on Monday
- Some of the date boxes are split when the dates don’t end on a Saturday – the split date boxes are too small to write in
Would I use this planner?
Yes! I really like the weekly layout of this planner and definitely will be trying it out!
