The Accessories

I love the rainbow rolls of washi but the black roll of washi feels like an afterthought. I think it’s supposed to tie in with the random doodles drawn on the planner (which also aren’t necessary).

I can think of a few ways to use the refill paper including: monthly planner, goal / project planning, pre-planning the week, when you run out of space, weekend planning or cleaning routines.

The tote bag has wide straps and is very deep but sadly doesn’t have any internal pockets e.g. no small pocket for your phone or some pens.

The desk calendar is one of those ones that stands on it’s own (I just didn’t have a neat background when I took the photo to show you!)

Planner Stickers

There is one sticker book with a variety of decorative and functional rainbow stickers (moreso decorative than functional). Here are a few of the sticker sheets:

The Planner

The planner is classic size and another take on their original vertical weekly spread.

The calendar is the same as all the other Happy Planner editions (with the Sunday start – and unfortunately the split boxes still make an appearance).

Love the watercolor paint effect behind each of the days of the week.

Vertical layouts don’t suit me though – I wish they’d done a horizontal version too!

One thing that’s a bit weird are the random black doodles (the crosses and dashes) on the layout. I think they’re trying to tie it in with the black washi tape that also comes in the box… But it’s so unnecessary.

If they could just do an entire refill pack with this notes page I’d buy it in bulk…

Would I buy the box?

I like the accessories but vertical planners don’t suit me (which is the only layout that the box comes in). I would’ve liked to see some more accessories like some half sheet checklist refills or rainbow notes page refill paper. I think these would be more useful than the phone holder and the dashboard. The colors of this collections are perfect – I hope Happy Planner do more coordinating products in these colors!
