The Cover
Typical sewn bound hardcover but with the planner name imprinted.
1″ thick
There’s plenty of prompter questions on the initial pages to help you figure out what you want.
I like the pre-filled ‘my balanced life’ questions.
These goal categories continue throughout the rest of the planner:
- Health
- Family
- Social
- Financial / Career
- Educational
- Fun
- Spiritual / Faith
After working out what you want / want to improve on, it’s time to start creating your goals:
The most impactful goal planning sheet has plenty of space to write… but there’s only 1 of these step by step detailed goal breakdowns bound into the planner.
You can download the pages for free from their website if you want to try them out and if you need them for other goals.
The paper feels like really smooth and is ivory (not yellow!) There is light ghosting of the ink on the back side of the pages.
How to Guide
This planner has a very thorough how to guide including suggestions for what to use each bookmark color for!
The how to guide is bound into the planner. I think it would be better if this was a separate booklet. It would reduce the weight and thickness of the planner. Plus it’s good to refer to when you first get the planner, but it’s probably not something you’d need to refer to often enough that it needs to be bound into the planner.
This is how many pages are for the guide & initial goal planning
Monthly Spreads
After you’ve chosen your goals, the planning section starts.
All of the months are clustered together at the front.
Each month has:
- Goal for the month (broken down into your top 3 for each of the categories)
- Notes page – but you could also use for list making
- 2 page monthly overview calendar
I’d color code the tasks on the monthly list to correspond with the goal category.
The start day of the monthly calendar is consistent with the weekly spread! Both start on Monday.
Pages lay flat on their own!
Weekly Spread
To use the weekly spread, start with jotting down your goals for the week against each of the weekly goal categories.
Next, allocate those goals to the day you intend to complete them.
The weekly spread is where I’d add those random daily ‘life admin’ tasks / reminders.
At the end of each week is a 1 page weekly reflection before the next week starts
It would be good if the week numbers were printed on the bottom corner of the pages as well as the cover page.
Daily Pages
The daily pages are setup into 4 sections:
- Morning prep
- The plan for your day
- Evening review
- Journal / notes section
Love the habit tracker sidebar on the daily layout. However, there doesn’t seem to be a section where you record your % for each day on the daily habit pages to get an average for the week which I think would be helpful for tracking your progress.
I also like that the schedule is blank so you can choose what time the day starts!
I’d prefer a wider checklists column so I’d switch around the journal / notes in the evening review with the checklist on the morning prep page.
Saturday and Sunday each have the 2 full page spread. Ideal if you’re working a side hustle in addition to your day job.
There are 3 different colored ribbon bookmarks in addition to the habit cards that are thick cardstock so could be used for a bookmark too.
The end of the 90 days, the planner ends a bit abruptly. There’s only 1 guided page to reflect with a couple of questions.
Then there are 9 double sided (so 18 total) lined notes pages at the back of the planner. It would be good if some of these notes pages were more questions like the weekly reflection pages.
Tabs
There are no tabs (probably because it’s a sewn bound planner).
Pros of the Planner
- Portable size
- Minimalist color scheme so you can use plenty of colored pens, highlighters etc.
- Smooth ivory paper
- 3 ribbon bookmarks (and each is a different color)
- Consistent start days (monthly and weekly spreads both start on Monday)
- Undated – start using it anytime
- 2 pages to plan each day – including Saturday and Sunday
- Detailed how to guide & instructions throughout the planner
- Habit tracking
- More affordable than most 90 day goal planners
Cons of the Planner
- Heavier than most 90 day planners
- 1″ thick
- No tabs
- Only lasts 90 days – expensive if you use it for an entire year (the planner does come with a 15% off coupon code though)
- Light ghosting of the ink on the back side of the pages
- Cover only comes in black
Would I use this planner?
Maybe. I like detailed goal planners but I don’t use daily planners.
I’d probably modify how I use the planner from how the creator intended:
- I wouldn’t use the weekday 2 days per day. I’d only use Saturday and Sunday as I’m at my day job during the week
- I’d use the journal / notes section on the daily pages for list making as I prefer wider columns for lists
- I’d add a section for errands / random little things that need to be done to the daily pages, or add this to the weekly spread
- I’d color code (using highlighters or pen) each goal – especially the goals listed in the weekly section of the monthly overview / calendar
- I like the weekly spread the way it is

Hi,
Why don’t you post the affiliate link for some of these items, or am I just missing it? Seems like you should get a kick from all your hard work.

Hi, unfortunately most planner companies don’t have an affiliate program 🙁

I like the goal set up and the weekly layout. Not a daily planner person, so most of this book would be wasted on me. Thanks for sharing it!
