The Cover
There are 4 cover colors to choose from: turquoise (which I chose), rose gold (but looks pastel pink in the Little More website), grey, grey with gold edges on the pages and of course… black.
The turquoise is very pretty – I wish more softcover notebooks came in this color!
Approx. 0.75″ thick
At the front of the planner is a this belongs to page
Followed by an example of how to use the monthly planning page and the daily pages.
Next are 12 x 1 page monthly spreads. There are no notes pages or traditional 2 pages per month with boxes for each day format.
Each month has sections for monthly goals, action steps and monthly review.
Straight after the monthly spreads are the daily pages.
Daily Planning
The Little More website states there are 328 pages in this planner but it’s not clear if it’s 328 daily pages plus the 12 monthly pages or 328 pages including the monthly pages.
I rarely use daily planners but when I do, I prefer those that don’t have a rigid pre-printed time schedule. While this one does have a scheduling section you choose what times to add. I’d probably add none at all! And instead use that section for more list space.
The planner comes with stickers dated for 2021 and 2022 however there aren’t any notes pages to put them on so you’ll need to stick to the inside of the front and back cover.
Pros of the Planner
- Portable size
- Lightweight
- Minimalist color scheme
- Affordable
- Multiple cover colors to choose from
Cons of the Planner
- Only 1 ribbon bookmark
- No pocket folder
- No extras pages
- No tabs
- If you use the daily pages everyday, it won’t last you an entire year
I didn’t pen test this planner as I didn’t end up keeping it. However I have pen tested the Little More dot grid notebook if you want to get an idea of the paper quality.
Would I use this planner?
No. This planner is too basic for me. All it has are 1 page monthly planners and 1 page daily planners. There are no extra pages, no tabs, no notes pages etc. The layouts are very simple – you could easily make something similar yourself in Microsoft Word. If I only needed daily and monthly pages I would just use a printable instead of buying this planner.
This planner would make a good add on if you occasionally need a daily planner but not all the time, or don’t want to use printables.
