On a recent trip to New Zealand’s south island I, as per usual, hit up as many stationery shops as I could find! Surprisingly though, there weren’t that many…
Warehouse Stationery
I think this must be the New Zealand version of Australia’s Officeworks as it had much the same brands and I even found a couple of the OTTO planners.
All of the stationery was reasonably priced with plenty of cute coordinated ranges:
<3 the flamingos and pinapples!
The Warehouse
A discount store with a bit of everything (including yummy + cheap fudge!), there was lots of cute lined notebooks.
Whitcoulls
Located a short drive out of Queenstown, Whitcoulls had a small stationery section:
Paper Plus
This is branded as a stationery shop but really it’s like a book store / newsagent. There was a small stand with bullet journals – including some New Zealand ones I hadn’t seen before.
So what did I buy?
Nothing. No that’s not a typo. This stationery addict didn’t buy anything. The brands I saw were ones stocked in my home country, Australia and there was nothing super special that I really wanted. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of stationery stops and planners – good thing New Zealand is very pretty so the scenery made up for it!
