Paris! Aside from being a unique, timeless city, it also has some great stationery shops – these were my favorite!
Most of the stationery shops I found and recommend are near Notre Dame which was conveniently the area where I stayed in Paris. Coincidence? We know it’s not 😉
Rougier and Ple
Conveniently located near my hotel in the Notre Dame precinct (Hotel Mecure Notre Dame Saint Pres), Rougier and Ple was set over multiple levels with stationery, art supplies etc.
There was a security guard keeping watch so I had to be sneaky snapping some pictures – unfortunately the washi wall photo was blurred :/
Le BHV Marais
Can’t fit in a trip to London? Le BHV Marais has Paperchase in their stationery section (although a very small range that’s nowhere near as good as the range in London).

Random tip: if you can’t find a store directory, stationery is usually located on the top floor of department stores.
Hema
Near Les Halles, Hema is a shop that reminded me of Daiso with a bit of this and that. I found it again in Vienna in Austria so if you’re heading that way, add it to your list!
Lots of cute, cheap stationery – I picked up these fluro pens. The packaging says they’re supposed to be scented but they don’t seem to be. For a couple of bucks, can’t really complain.

Papier Plus / Papier +
Located near Notre Dame, this shop was nice to browse, but didn’t have much that was of interest to me. Too many sewn / bookbound journals (if you’re a regular reader of my blog then you’ll know all about my dislike of those!)
Office Depot
Office Depot was unfortunately closed so I didn’t get a chance to go in. However, it was located on a pretty, classic Parisian Street <3
Petite Pan
So this ones not really a stationery shop, it’s a fabric / craft shop. But the displays for this shop were super cute – fabric, buttons and lots of COLOR!
This shop was near Le BHV Marais and on the way to Place Des Vosges.
I need shelving cubes like this for pens!
Other Stationery Shops:
Calligrane
Moreso fine paper than affordable and cute planner supplies, this shop is – you guessed it – located near Notre Dame.
Flying Tiger Copenhagen
I didn’t go to Flying Tiger Copenhagen as I went to the one in London and knew I’d be going to the ones in Rome (there are a few there). This shop is similar to Hema (but much smaller) with an assortment of random knick knack type things. They have some bright pens and highlighters.
