While visiting Austria I couldn’t resist stopping in at a few stationery shops (of course). If you’re in the tourist hotspots of Salzburg and Vienna, here are some stationery shops to put on your list!
Libro (Salzburg)
My favorite discount store (apart from Hema in Paris) and easy to get to in Salzburg, Libro had a bit of this and that. At the back of the shop was the stationery section.
Address: multiple locations. I visited the one near Mirabell Gardens (Dreifaltigkeitsgasse 18, 5020 Salzburg, Austria)
I found these fineliner pens – not bad for a couple of dollars (except the yellow – as per usual, almost impossible to see what I’d written)
This shop was also in Vienna (Alser Str. 20, 1090 Wien, Austria). I didn’t have time to visit the Vienna store but since it’s a chain store, I’m assuming the stock would be similar.
Vienna, has quite a few boutique stationery shops. Just keep in mind most shops are closed in Vienna on Sundays and holidays.
Papier Hafen
Located along the waterfront and not far from the main town square, this shop had some cute stuff (although it was very small).
Address: Franz-Josefs-Kai 27, 1010 Wien, Austria
Lustig Papier
Conventionality located right next to my 2nd favorite gelato shop in Vienna (I tried 6 gelato places just to be sure) was Lustig Papier!
Address: Hoher Markt 4, 1010 Wien, Austria
This shop stocked Filofax and Leuchtturm.
CV Deisgn
CV Design was closed (it was Sunday) when I was in that part of town, but I did spot some Marvy Japan Le Pen’s in their cute window display!
konig and ebhardt vienna
Address: Wollzeile 17, 1010 Wien, Austria
Lots of Moleskine in this shop! There was also quite a few pens I hadn’t seen but they were only available individually and they were super expensive 🙁
