Following on from last week’s popular post about how to make glitter text in Photoshop. Today’s post is how to make glitter patterns in Photoshop!
It’s super easy: all you need is a glitter background and a pattern overlay.

What is a pattern overlay?
A pattern overlay is essentially a digital paper but without a colored background. So in the example I’m going to show you in the video below, it’s just the white polka dots. If you want to follow along with the video, you can download the polka dot pattern overlay from the free printables library. If you’ve already subscribed, you can login to the free printables library using the password that was sent in your initial sign-up confirmation email.

How to make glitter patterns in Photoshop
To enlarge the screen of the video tutorial, click the square icon in the bottom right hand corner of the video (it will say ‘full screen’ when you hover your mouse over the icon). If you miss a step or need to re-watch you can pause, restart, rewind and rewatch the recording as many times as you need!
