When I was shopping at Officeworks the other day – something that happens more often than I’d like to admit!) I came across some of the new academic year planners they’d released – one of which was the Do It All Planner by Orange Circle Studio. I’d seen the planner online but it’s not a brand you can typically find in Australia so I grabbed a copy to use later this year for the 52 Planners in 52 Weeks Challenge.
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post, I paid for the planner myself and all opinions are my own.

The Cover
The cover is unusual in that is has an in built pocket folder. There’s also an elastic band to keep everything enclosed. The cover is made of thin cardstock – it would probably get damaged over time.
Dates at a glance calendar
As is included with most planners, there’s a dates at a glance calendar. The font is really small.
Birthday’s, Anniversaries and Special Days
This planner has a different format format in that rather than pages with a separate section for each month, it’s in a list style format.
2018 Holidays page
This page has Australian, New Zealand, Canadian and UK holidays printed (one of the only planners I’ve found that covers most of the world’s holidays!)
1 Page Monthly calendar
To be honest I think these monthly calendars are a bit useless – there’s no space to actually write anything in them and they’re only 1 page instead of 2 pages like most other planners If you’re someone that doesn’t use a monthly calendar anyway then at least they’re included for quick reference for dates.
There is a lined space at the bottom for jotting down a few things – there would probably be enough room for recording bills that are due, but there wouldn’t be enough room for something that occurs quite frequently such as meal planning or blog post planning.
All of the monthly calendars are grouped together at the start of the planner, rather than interspersed between the spreads.
2 Page Weekly Spread
The 2 page weekly spread has multiple sections per day to break everything down, as well as a ‘this week’ section which would be a good space to pre-plan your week.
Holidays are pre-printed. There are dates at a glance calendars for the current and following month. I personally don’t like it when planners do this as it wastes functional planning space.
The colors of the weekly spreads match the colors of the monthly calendar.
The weekly spread starts on a Monday (which is annoying as the monthly calendar starts on a Sunday – why do planner companies do this!?)
This year in pixels
I think this company has been on Instagram because ‘this year in pixels’ mood tracker pages seem to be all the rage!
There’s also a checklist goals for 2018 page.
Budget Tracker
Note this only runs for 12 months (2018) while the planner starts in August 2017.
Gratitude Tracker and Bucket List
Graph Paper
Which could be used for habit tracking, creating a graph to track your savings goals etc.

Shopping List & To Do List Pages
These pages are included rather than lined notes pages.
They’re perforated so you can tear out the list you need rather than ripping the entire page out of the planner.
The to do lists and shopping lists are double sided, so if you write on both sides you can easily lose your lists.
2 Sheets of functional planner stickers (each is 0.5″ square)
Pen Testing
The paper was nice and smooth to write on but there was some ghosting on the back of the pages.
Pros of the Do It All Weekly Planner
- The weekly layout – lots of sections in the weekly spread to categories all of the things you need to plan
- Different colors throughout the planner
- Elastic band to keep everything together
- Portable Size
- Feels lights
- Lots of mini shopping list and to do list pages at the back (which are perforated!)
- Includes functional planner stickers at a good size that wouldn’t take up too much planner space (0.5″ square)
- Holidays are pre-printed on the weekly spread and the monthly calendar
Cons of the Do It All Weekly Planner
- The binding feels cheap – like they didn’t want to spend the money to have the coil extend the entire length of the planner like every other planner does – because of this it feels like pages could easily rip out of the planner
- The front and back covers are thin – I can see these getting damaged the more you use the planner
- The colors of the planner are a bit dull e.g. the green is more of an olive green than a nice bright green
- The monthly calendars are a bit useless – there’s no space to actually write anything in them and they’re only 1 page instead of 2 pages like most other planners
- The to do lists and shopping lists are double sided, so if you write on both sides you can easily lose your lists
- No tabs
- No bookmark to keep your place – you’ll probably need 2 as the monthly calendars are at the start of the planner rather than dispersed between the weekly planning pages
- No lined notes pages (although there are ample shopping list and to do list pages)
Would I use this planner?
Overall, I like the weekly spread of this planner but not much else about it. I will be using it for the 52 planners in 52 weeks challenge – make sure you subscribe to be notified when that post is published!
