Whenever a journal claims to be bleedproof, I’m sceptical. However, this time, the company’s claim was right…

The Cover
The usual cover that all sewn bound notebooks have. There are 4 colors to choose from: pink, blue, yellow or black.
Just over 1″ thick
Key & Index
Bright white paper and numbered pages. The numbers sit below the dot grid (good!) and none of the dots are too close to the edge of page.
Most sewn bound notebooks seem to be around 8.25″ wide – this one is a bit wider at 8.5″ wide. I much prefer that little bit of extra width – better for 2 columns.
The dots are a dark grey and quick thick compared to other bullet journal notebooks I’ve come across – I’m interested to try out the notebook and see if they’re not too ‘in your face’ or if they blend away when you write over the top.
3 ribbon bookmarks – and they’re all different colors!
Pocket Folder
Pen Testing
The paper feels thick in this notebook but I wasn’t going to get my hopes up. Well I was pleasantly surprised – the paper faired really well in the pen test!
Only some ghostng from the MAMBI stamps. No ghosting or bleed through for any of the pens and highlighters.
Pros of the Notebook
- Portable size
- Cover color other than black
- 3 Ribbon bookmarks (and each is a different color)
- Bright white paper
- Key page
- Index pages
- Numbered pages
- Thick paper with no ghosting
- Pocket folder
- 200 Pages
Cons of the Notebook
- Bit heavy (approx 1″ thick)
Would I use this notebook?
Yes! No bleed through white paper is hard to find in a bullet journal notebook.
