The stationery shop I was most excited to visit on my recent trip to London was Paperchase! I visited a few Paperchase shops looking for their planners but didn’t find them until I walked into the very last one at the train station before boarding the Eurostar to Paris (close call!)
This is not a sponsored post. I purchased the planner myself and all opinions are my own.

The Cover
The cover was sealed in plastic packaging for 5 long weeks in my suitcase. I really wanted to rip the packaging off to take a peek but waited until I was back in Australia in the hopes it would prevent damage. Unfortunately the cover was knocked around a bit and there’s an indent in the bottom 🙁
The cover extends slightly over the pages to prevent the pages from getting damaged.
All of the pages have gold edging <3
The planner is very thin – only about half an inch thick.
2018 and 2019 Dates at a glance Pages
Starting Monday (consistent with the weekly planning pages)
Important Dates Pages
I really like the structure of these pages – it looks so neat and easy to read.
International Dates Pages
This page is a good idea to give an overview, but my fellow Aussies will notice these are only the main public holidays.
I do however, really like that it has the day of the week and the date (as most companies only print the date).
Weekly Planner
The reason I chose the Agenzio was because of it’s horizontal layout. I really, really like this layout. It reminds me of the Mi Goals and Plum Paper Planners.
My favorite weekly layout is horizontal for days of the week on the left page and list making space on the right. As the lines between each day are bold on the lined right page, you could also use this in 2 page horizontal format, or use 1 page for work, the other for personal stuff etc. A subtle design that still provides a very functional layout that could be used multiple ways = <3
Each weekly page has a monthly calendar down the bottom. I like that this isn’t the traditional square / block format some calendars do but I don’t really see the point of having a monthly calendar at the bottom of every weekly page when there’s an annual dates at a glance calendar. Maybe it’s because there’s no monthly calendar.
No monthly calendar
Since I rarely refer to a monthly calendar anyway I don’t mind that this planner doesn’t include one.
Extra Pages
World Times & Conversion Factors
This is the first planner I’ve found that includes metric conversions, world times and international dialling codes!
4 Lined notes pages
The line spacing is about 0.25″ – just the right size in my opinion!
4 Contacts Pages
I like that the heading is printed on the side of the pages so it’s easy to find the page you’re looking for.
4 www pages
I’m assuming these pages are for favorite websites, blogs, recipe websites, logins and passwords etc.
Pocket Folder at the back
The pocket folder is quite roomy – expands about an inch although the sewn / book binding will limit how much you can put it in and still close the planner.
There’s also a built in ribbon bookmark and a coordinating pen.
Pen Testing
I’m not a fan of planners with yellow pages 🙁
The paper is very thin which keeps the planner thin in size, but also means there’s a lot of ghosting and some bleed through.
Ballpoint pens, as always seems to be the case, had the least amount of ghosting.
I don’t recommend highlighters or stamps – really bad bleed through
Pros of the Paperchase Agenzio Planner
- Very lightweight – weighs a bit more than my kindle
- Elastic band to keep everything closed
- Built in pen loop
- Reasonably priced
- Pretty cover with gold foil
- Gold foil edges on each page
- Minimalist style
- Lay flat binding
Cons of the Paperchase Agenzio Planner
- Glue / book binding means you can’t use many stickers or put much in the pocket folder and still be able to close the planner
- Yellow pages
- The pages are thin so you can see the days of the week / ink printed on the back pages plus most pens had bad ghosting or bleed through to the other side
- No monthly calendar
Would I use this planner?
I really, really like the weekly layout of this planner. The horizontal with notes weekly layout, the titles for the extra pages printed on the side making it easy to find, the built in bookmark = tick, tick tick! If this planner had disc binding, white paper and paper that pens didn’t bleed through it would basically be perfect for me.
