Clever Fox is one of the few planners with sewn binding that I’ll use as the pages lay flat. They have quite a few planner layout nowadays (I’ll be doing reviews of them soon), but one of their original layouts was their weekly planner:

Clever Fox Weekly Planner Review
After the Pen
This planner has neutral colors so you know what that means… time to add some color!
I was originally going to do a pink ombre theme with highlighters and colored pens… but highlighters tend to come in either all the same shade of that color (no matter the brand), or very bright / very pastel with shades that didn’t look that great together. So plan B was a black and pink theme.
If you did want to try an ombre pink weekly spread with pens, see this post for a comparison I did of various pink pens.
I prefer to do monthly habit tracking instead of weekly so covered that section with a sticky note. It was a cheap one I found at Spotlight years ago so wasn’t very sticky – hence the addition of the washi tape.
The dots in the notes section of this planner are a dark shade of grey making it a bit busy. However, Clever Fox listened to feedback and have updated this for their newer planners – the dots are now a lighter shade of grey.
The planner is undated – I was going to just write the dates in with pen but stickers stand out more. Since I didn’t have a set of printed & cut stickers for all dates in pink (as I tend to do rainbow themes), I grabbed some plain date dot stickers and did a border with a marker pen.
Highlighter versus no highlighter:

Would I use this planner again?
I like the weekly spread – simple + lined. The 2nd page is a bit too structured for me – especially with the A5 page size – it’s not enough room to write.
I have the Clever Fox weekly planner Pro version on it’s way which has a modified layout to this one & a larger page size so I might try that layout out and see if I like it better.
