This is My Era Planner Review (Undated 90 Day Planner with 2 Page Daily Spread)

It’s hard to find a day to a page planner that has plenty of functional list space not just a daily schedule. The ‘This is My Era’ planner has a two page daily spread. And if you don’t like a schedule on your daily planner you can easily convert it into even more list space.

The Cover

Usual hardcover. I purchased the black as that is all that was available at the time but I can see on their website they now have a red cover, and also a black cover with gold text of the name.

Goal Planning

First is the vision planning page

I really love the goal pages in this planner – very thorough with not just a target date but also priority for each goal and action steps. There are 10 goal pages (most planners only include 3!)

I like these goal pages but a little extra space e.g. another dot grid page for each goal would be even better (there are’t very many notes pages at the back of the planner).

The line spacing is 5mm.

Monthly Planning

As this is a bookbound planner there are no tabs but there is a black page to separate each section of the book.

Each month has a 2 page monthly calendar in the usual box format most planners include. The space to write the date is tiny (3mm square). I would just white it out and write the dates over the top, or use some date dot stickers.

The calendar starts Sunday but since it’s an undated planner you can switch it to start on Monday if you want.

The boxes for each day are 3.1cm wide x 2.9cm high.

All of the months are clustered together at the start of the planner. Note that there are only 3 monthly calendars included as this is a 90 day planner.

Weekly Review

There are 12 weekly reviews with 2 pages per week.

There are 10 goal planning pages in the front section of the planner with space to work on 5 for each week.

Daily Planning

This 2 page spread has plenty of space to plan each day with sections for:

  • Thankful for
  • Today’s priorities
  • To do list
  • Affirmation (I’d just use whiteout and turn this into open ended notes space)
  • Wins / accomplishments today
  • Things I learned today / key follow-ups
  • Schedule from 6am to 9pm with 2 lines for each hour so you can plan half hourly if you want
  • Dot grid notes column

The line spacing is consistent with the other pages in the planner (5mm).

Notes

There are 5 (5mm) double sided dot grid pages at the back of the planner.

Pen Test

I can see ghosting of the printed ink on the backside of the pages so didn’t bother doing a pen test.

Pros of the Planner

  • Portable size
  • Pages lay flat on their own
  • Functional goal planning pages
  • Plan up to 10 goals
  • Numbered pages
  • 2 page daily spread
  • Monthly calendar
  • Weekly Review
  • 2 Ribbon bookmarks (and different colors)

Cons of the Planner

  • Only lasts 3 months. If you use this planner for an entire year it will cost $24.50 x 4 = $98
  • No monthly planning page
  • No tabs
  • No pocket folder
  • No structured review / reflection pages at the end of the planner (i.e. to do an overall review at the end of the 90 days)
  • Limited cover options

Would I use this planner?

No – I don’t use daily planners. However if I did I would consider this one as it has a large checklist space and you could easily convert the schedule into more list space as well. I do wish there was a separate monthly planning page and that the planner had a longer duration for the price.
