Oops a Daisy review (UK stationery brand) – bullet journal stencils, washi tape, stickers
While searching for new alphabet stencils for my bullet journal, I came across Oops a Daisy. This brand not only had the widest range of alphabet stencils I’ve come across, they also had a row and column stencil (a staple for any bullet journal and always good to see another brand offering this), as well as washi tape, stickers and plenty of bullet journal layout stencils.
I liked the stationery so much I convinced my sister to stock it in her planner supplies store, Carefully Crafted.
This is not a sponsored or affiliated post, I really like the products and with some of my past favorites like Ink By Jeng and Sunshine Sticker Co closing down, Oops a Daisy is a good combination / similar style to both of those brands.

Oops a Daisy stationery (UK brand)
The other thing that got me excited is that the stencils came in multiple sizes, and there are stencils specifically sized to suit B5 notebooks as well as A5 size.
It was hard to choose but here are some of my favorite things from Oops a Daisy:
- Turquoise sticker sheets
- Weekday washi tape
- Checkboxes washi tape
- Monthly calendar tab stickers
- A5 sticker sheets (no need to rule up time intensive pages like habit trackers, year in pixels etc. – you can just peel and stick!)
- Grid ruler stencil (spaces between the boxes, and another version with no spaces)
- A5 and B5 grid guide stencil
- B5 stencils

They also have A5 and B5 dot grid notebooks but these weren’t available yet at the time my sister and I placed the order. I’ll do a review once they arrive!
So many alphabet stencils to choose from!

Many of the alphabet stencils also come in uppercase and lowercase versions.

If you can’t do brush lettering, try the All About You and Apricot Stencils (both come in uppercase and lowercase options).

If you like Paper Accents Stencils then the Oops a Daisy Serif, Love Bujo and Snail Scribbles stencils are similar.
How many stencils is too many…?

How does Oops a Daisy compare to other brands?
The plastic of Oops a Daisy stencils feels thin but more sturdy than Paper Accents – I think it’s because the letters are not so close to the edge of the stencil like the letters on the Paper Accent stencils are.
They feel comparable to stencils you can buy inexpensively off Amazon. There are plenty of daily / weekly / monthly layout stencils on Amazon so unless I need a B5 size stencil, I’ll likely keep using the ones I’ve already bought off Amazon. But I’m yet to see another brand offer so many alphabet stencils, particularly ones sized for B5 notebooks so that’s what I’ll likely be using the most from Oops a Daisy.

The stencils also include the middle of the letters such as the holes for A, B, O, P etc. I prefer this style and think it creates neater letters.

Here’s a comparison of similar alphabet stencils – the Love Bujo from Oops a Daisy versus Adventure Alpha from PA Essentials. I think the Oops a Daisy stencils create neater letters (there are less manual joins / touchups after you’ve finished with the stencil).

I prefer to fill the letters in to fix up any imperfections and because some letters like I, L and T are so thin it doesn’t leave much white space inside the letter. So they’re basically already filled in anyway, may as well make the rest of the letters match.

If you’re just starting using stencils for bullet journaling, Oops a Daisy has some stencil kits that would be a good starting place.

The grid rulers (with and without spaces) are also similar to Ink by Jeng and Sunshine Sticker Co. I’ll be doing a separate post with a review of these stencils soon.
- A5 row and grid stencil
- B5 row and grid stencils.
- Universal grid ruler (spaces)
- Universal grid rule (no spaces)

Washi tape
I like that the washi tapes come in a a small box of 2 because when you start to buy a lot of similar washi tapes, if they don’t wrap the brand name on the roll it’s easy to get them mixed up.

The washi tape style is similar to Sunshine Sticker Co which has unfortunately closed down. Sunshine Sticker Co had more color choices. Oops a Daisy only has black, white and purple. Hopefully they’ll offer more colors to choose from in the future.
- Black tape with white days of the week and appointment times
- Black solid tape with checklists
- Black tape with white vertical numbers and weekdays
- White tape with black days of the week and appointment times
- White tape with black weekdays and vertical numbers
- White tape with black weekdays and horizontal numbers
- Purple tape with white days of the week and appointment times
- Purple tape with white vertical numbers and weekdays
Ink by Jeng washi tape was similar but only came in black and white and since they’re no longer operating, the Oops a Daisy washi is a great alternative.
I used my Francheville dot grid notebook which is just a cheap notebook from Spotlight (I use my cheap notebooks with poor paper quality for swatches like these washi tapes). The Francheville notebook is a 5mm dot grid but it’s 5mm in between the dots. Most dot grid notebooks are 5mm including the dots and this is what most checklist washi tape is designed to be used with. So make sure you check the dot grid of the notebook you want to use, if you want checklist washi tape to sit exactly in line with the dot grid.

As you can see, even though brands create similar washi tape, it’s not all the same! Different fonts, washi tape thicknesses and the Oops a Daisy adds a star in between Sunday and Monday on the roll (you can always cut it out if you don’t need it).

Planner Stickers
The planner stickers only come in a few colors (and most of them are muted tones not rainbow colors :().
There’s A5 sheet stickers for habit trackers, checklists and budgeting so you don’t need to spend time ruling up the pages. Just peel and stick!
There’s also A5 unpunched planner inserts for things like meal planning & grocery lists, one page weekly spreads and habit trackers.
