With so many different planers to choose from, it can be confusing and overwhelming as to which planners are which sizes, especially when the same planner comes in multiple size options. So here’s a summary of common planner pages sizes, and which planners are what page sizes.

Common page sizes quick reference:

In ascending order of size:

• Pocket = 81mm x 120mm
• Personal=  95mm x 171mm
• A5 (Half A4 page size) = 148 x 210mm or 5.8 x 8.3″ (used in Australia & the UK)
• Half letter size = 5.5” wide x 8.5” high (used in the USA)
• Classic (medium) = around 7” wide x 9” high (or 7″ wide x 9.25″ high for the Happy Planner)
• A4 = 210 x 297mm or 8.3 x 11.7″ (used in Australia & the UK)
• US Letter size = 8.5” wide x 11” high (used in the USA)

Printing planner pages to suit your planner

You can print any planner printable (such as the ones from my shop!) at any size you like. Easily print A5 /half letter page size and also custom page size such as 7 x 9” for your Erin Condren, Plum Paper, LimeLife Planner etc.

Which planner size is right for you?

If you’re not sure what page size to use, go for classic/medium (typically 7″ wide x 9″ high), as this is the size most planners come in, it’s portable and has just the right amount of room to write!

If you leave a note when placing your order you can request for them to ship your planner without spiral binding so you can punch them yourself if you’d prefer to use a discbound planning system (I wish I had known this before ordering as I would’ve loved to Arc my Plum Paper planners!)

Australia & The UK

• Small (A5 – 6″ x 8.24″ (15cm x 21cm)
• Large (A4 – 8.27″ x 11.69″ (210mm x 297mm)

USA

• Small (Half US Letter size – 5.5 x 8.5”)

Tip: Cover holes with washi tape and re-punch if you’re using inserts that don’t suit the rings of the planner you’ve chosen!
