Most dot grid notebooks are too small for my liking so when I stumbled across the Siwengde notebook I snapped it up straight away!
Before the pen
See my review of the notebook (including pen test and video) in this post.
The notebook is bigger than most dot grid sewn bound notebooks (7.5″ wide x 9.75″ high).
After the pen
After pairing back my spreads in recent weeks I was so ready to go back to COLOR.

I used some of my favorite stickers (Carpe Diem) and paired the colors as close as I could with the Frixion pens.
Add some washi tape and a highlighter heading = colorful spread with minimal time and effort!
I love the combination of dot grid and lined pages – if the line spacing was a bit closer together it’d be perfect.
Supplies Used
The great thing about having so much stationery is that when you want to match shades of a sticker you have a few pens and highlighters to choose from!
- Carpe Diem number stickers
- Park Lane Paperie washi tape (0.58cm wide) – rainbow chevron
- Pilot Frixion erasable pens
- Papermate Inkjoy Gel 0.7mm teal pen
- Simbalion trin tip fluorescent marker
- Crayola erasable highlighter – purple, orange
- Daiso marking pen (yellow)
- Zebra Justfit teal highlighter
Would I use the Siwengde again?
Yes, I liked being able to spread out with the bigger page size. The notebook would be perfect if the lines on the right page were a bit closer together.
