I’ve purchased many Agendio planners over the last few years. Being able to create a custom planner with whatever layout you want means there are endless options and it’s impossible to choose just one! Having tried the 7 x 9 ” medium page size here and here I wanted to try a smaller page size. I’ve ordered two 5.5″ wide x 8″ high planners with similar layouts (because of my indecisiveness).
This week I decided to try one and see if I’d change anything.. as Agendio have come out with more spread options / features so I’m thinking about ordering more custom planners so if there’s something I like in this spread I want to incorporate it into the next planner.
Before the Pen
I ended up going with the neutral / black and white one I ordered because I wanted to add color and not coordinate with whatever colors I’d chosen from Agendio’s options. Plus black goes with everything. I wanted to use some washi tape I’ve had for ages but don’t get a chance to use often enough: MAMBI skinny washi tape!
But it was a bit plain so I added some highlighter. Despite the nice colors of this washi tape it was really hard to find a highlighter that closely matched the colors. Most highlighters are neon or pastel with nothing really in between. I used a Mildliner but wasn’t happy with that so instead…
I grabbed some MAMBI stickers and covered it all up – much better!
After the Pen
In my review of this planner I mentioned that the text of the labels were too small but that actually ended up being a good thing. It was easy to cover them up with stickers, and they’re small enough to easily cover up with white out tape too.
I stuck to my usual layout of blog posts in the daily sections with a task list on the other page. I liked the boxes I added for due this week and project. If I don’t have a deadline it takes me much longer to finish things. I also need a project or travel plans or something big that I’m planning or I end up doing bits and pieces of things that aren’t that important and never really finishing things so added a section to the spread for that.
I chose the 6mm line spacing – perfect for me 🙂 I used the maped fine tip pens which are only 0.4mm but write more like a 0.7mm pen.

Would I use this planner again?
Yes. I like the proportions for the line spacing and all of the sections I chose, the layout worked really well. I thought having Sunday on the right page would annoy me but since the page size is only A5 and I’m used to medium page size, I liked have the extra room for each day rather than cramming all of the weekdays onto the 1 page. I think this layout would work well at medium page size too. This is one of the few planners I could see myself using multiple times (see the rest in this post).
If you like this layout and want to order one for yourself, here’s the link to their website (referral link). The base model I chose to customise was 32056.
If you make a purchase using my referral link I’ll receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you) which will be used towards purchasing more Agendio planners!
