Planner Organization: How to organize planner stickers

free printable planner stickers binder cover and spine how to organize planner stickers free planner stickers rainbow functional

With the sticker craze going on at the moment I thought I would share how I organize my planner stickers!

HOW TO ORGANIZE PLANNER STICKERS

I recommend organizing either by color, size, type or designer. Some example categories:

  • Icons
  • ECLP Full Box
  • Money stickers
  • Pink stickers
  • Polka dot stickers
  • Themed kits
  • Stickers for school
  • AllAboutTheHouse Stickers
  • Etc.

I used to use an A4 (similar to letter size) binder to store my full page sticker sheets like this one (which you can get from Amazon. For my fellow Aussies, I purchased mine from Officeworks).

I used a clear-view binder so I could add a cute cover to the front. If you also use a binder to organize your stickers, then I’ve added the cover to the free printables library so you can make your binder cute too! You can access the FREE printables library (which also has free planner stickers) when you subscribe to the blog. If you’re an existing subscriber, you can login here (the password was sent in the initial subscription confirmation email), if you’d like to subscribe and download the binder cover, click here.

Here’s a walk-through of my sticker binder:

UPDATE: I’ve since switched to the Arc notebook and this is my current setup (I still have the cute cover in the front!)

I keep my planner stickers in plastic sheet protectors but you could also just hole punch and pop them straight in.

I keep stickers I use more frequently e.g. bill stickers in a separate A5 Arc notebook dedicated solely to sticker storage (as it’s more portable than the full page size Arc notebook shown in the above photo). Within this I use the zip pouch that works with the Arc planner, it’s available in both letter size and half size, for stickers that I’ve already cut. For my fellow Australians, you can buy these online at Staples (see below for a picture of what they look like). I started with two zipper pockets but my sticker collection was getting out of hand so I now have 7 zipper pockets for each of these categories:
– Money stickers e.g. bill due
– Appointments e.g. hair appointment, medical
– Home & Car e.g. car maintenance stickers, cleaning stickers
– Icons e.g
– List stickers e.g. ECLP full box, half box
– Sidebar stickers e.g. meal planning, list stickers
– Miscellaneous e.g. blank stickers that can be used for anything

Within each of these categories, I have clear mini clip top bags for each type of sticker e.g. laundry day stickers in one bag. I have been using this system for a while now and it has been working well!

For blank stickers of various sizes, I use the blank editable morning/day/night (but can be used for anything) stickers I made to create labels for each size e.g. o.25″ square, 0.5″ square, 1.5 x 0.5″ rectangle ect. which I stick to the outside of the clip-top bags.

Document wallets

I shared the labels I made to organize all my stickers into categories e.g. fitness stickers, headers, icons, events, hydrate stickers etc. Click here to download them. how to organize planner stickers free printable stickers planner supplies addict obsessed stationery rainbow etsy sticker shop

Binders with plastic sleeves – letter size or half size

Good if you have sticker sheets but I wouldn’t recommend if you pre-cut your stickers like I do. If you have a lot of stickers I’d recommend some dividers/tabs. If you want to make custom half size dividers with patterns, photos, custom colours ect – you can purchase this layered photoshop template I’ve created.
