If you follow this blog, you’ll know I only do functional planning. My favorite stickers are icons, checklists, colored dots (great for color coding), text labels and numbers. While I make my own planner stickers, that can end up being rather time consuming as I want to make all the stickers but don’t have the time! I have a very specific style and colors that I stick to… and sometimes I want more variety than that. This post has my favorite brands with functional sticker books for planning and bullet journaling.
You can find most of the stickers I mention in this post in my sister’s shop, Carefully Crafted. Some of my past weekly spreads using these stickers are here.

1. Carpe Diem
I use the numbers and calendar sticker books from this brand all the time! So often that the glue holding the sticker books together has fallen apart.
So many colors to choose from and a great range of icons you’ll actually use. Each icon is in each color so you can usually find one to coordinate with the rest of the colors you’ve chosen to use in your spread. There are multiple sizes and styles of number stickers if you want to use an expired planner or for bullet journaling.

These stickers are (I think) the best value for money of any on this list.
2. Recollections from Michaels
I think these are better value than the Happy Planner Sticker books. While the Recollections sticker books are thinner, they fit more stickers on the page and there’s less quotes / decorative stickers.
From left to right: fitness stickers, menu stickers, to do stickers, tracking stickers, clear trackers (hard to find stickers like these!), everyday basics (not pictured but also recommend the calendar sticker book)
Some of my favorites – no wasted space on these sticker sheets!
3. Happy Planner
Happy Planner sticker books are hit and miss for me. They must have more than 100 sticker books by now and I only have a few. A lot of them have too many decorative stickers for me (e.g. giant floral stickers that would take up too much space on the page), quote stickers that are awkward sizes or stickers I just wouldn’t use. Frustratingly they combine a few really good sheets of functional stickers with a bunch of ‘fluff’ decorative stickers – I don’t want to buy an entire sticker book to use only a few sheets.
My favorite functional Happy Planner sticker books are:
- Colorful boxes
- Colorful boxes (594 pieces)
- Journaling
- Dates and holidays
- Hand-written plans
- Not pictured: Planner Babe
I don’t do budgeting on paper anymore (I use Microsoft Excel instead) however if I was, the Happy Planner has plenty of budgeting sticker books (love these rainbow colors!). There’s another mini budgeting icon sticker book too.
From left to right: Budget (1411 pieces), Household, Savvy Saver, Budget, Save Now Spend Later. Not pictured: another of their budget sticker books (earlier edition)
While most Happy Planner sticker books are bright and colorful, if you prefer neutral black and white there are a few options:

4. Oh Hello Sticker Co
So this brand doesn’t have an entire sticker book, but the collections of sticker sheets are functional – dates, days of the week and months of the year.
There’s a mix of rainbow and black only stickers in the monthly labels and days of the week (different fonts on the sticker sheets too).

5. Life Organized
The rainbow colors of these stickers are so nice. The color printing is really good quality. The compact size of these sticker sheets makes them easy to store and they cram so many stickers on the sheets – no wasted white space between stickers.
6. The Paper Studio Agenda 52
While not very well known, this brand has so many sticker books to choose from (there must be about 50 different sticker books!)
Not many of them are functional with more focus on decorative / themed sticker books.
My favorites from this brand are the:
Calendar and Home Life Foiled sticker books
7. Craft Smith
In particular, this Crafting Time sticker book from KrissyAnne Designs (and the rainbow sticker book too).
8. Bloom
Three of my favorite Bloom sticker kits are pictured below, but my all time favorite is definitely the color coding sticker pack.

9. Assorted
Some other brands that have a few functional sticker sets are:
- My Prima Planner number stickers
- Heidi Swapp gold numbers (there’s a clear / black version too)
- Heidi Swapp alphabet
- anko brand from Kmart
- Craft Smith (only a few, most of them are themed / decorative)
- Plan It Now
- Memory Planner Icon Stickers
Clever Fox Planners is one of my favorite planner brands. While I don’t like the colors of their stickers (so haven’t purchased a set) they do include plenty of functional stickers in their sets.

Mirida Daily Icons . This brand has fitness icons and productivity icons too
Homework2 – these are a bit larger than most at 0.6 x 0.6″
Vladi Creative Store (they have other themed sticker kits too)
